So, You Think You Know Long Island?
Presented by Gene Horton
On Wednesday March 16th, 2016, Mr. Gene Horton, Bayport historian and the Society asked the audience; "So, You Think You Know Long Island?"  It was an interesting, informative and entertaining discussion.

Long Island has had a long recorded history from the first European settlements in the 17th century to today.  Much influenced by construction of railroads in the 19th century, the island experienced growth in tourism as well as the development of towns and villages into some of the first modern suburbs in the United States.
