Midnight Rum: Long Island and Prohibition

On Wednesday May 31st, The Historical Society of Islip hosted a presentation by Jonathan Olly, assistant curator of the LI Museum, titled; "Midnight Rum: Long Island and Prohibition".  The presentation covered the effects of prohibition from New York City in the west, to the coastal villages on the North and South forks.
