On Thursday, Oct. 28th, the Historical Society of Islip Hamlet hosted historian and author Amy Folk and her presentation on her book "Murder on Long Island" which tells of the murder of Mr. & Mrs. Wickham of Cutchogue in 1854.

The double murder not only shocked and horrified the local community but also reverberated throughout the northeast.  Ms. Folk not only spoke of the murders and the people involved but also continued with their stories up to and including the current year.
