On May 20th, the Historical Society of Islip Hamlet and the Islip Public Library co-hosted Amy Folk and her presentation on Plum Island. Ms. Folk covered the island's history from 1659, when it was purchased from the Montaukket tribe to its current day use. Due to illness, the program was presented at the library via a Zoom.
